SUPERORGANISME – a bee story
The spectacular late summer garden of the art museum Munkeruphus was the backdrop for our latest exploration of dialogues with bees. It is part a collaboration with design anthropologist Laura Winge and Oliver Maxwell, anthropologist, beekeeper and founder of Bybi, Laura Winge on the material exchanges between bees and people. How do we respectfully invite the bees to make art with us? How do they invite us to make caring interventions with them? We ended eating together on the grass and everyone collected a few flower seeds in their pockets to share for the bees next spring.
The workshop was an artist talk and research workshop as a part of the exhibition Superorganisme curated by Annesofie Becker, Anna Maria Orrù, and Morten Søndergaard.
